Hi! I'm Marci, Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time. I work hard to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, school issues and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life. Counseling can encourage personal development in whatever way you may be seeking and help build the life you so deeply deserve. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here when you're ready to share.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, discuss expectation we have of each other as we get to know one another, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with youth, parents & their families in various settings for the past 10 years, I've gained a lot of knowledge for for building trusting relationships, which in turn leads to changed behaviors & more positive ways of thinking. I like to view my clients as partners in developing & exploring the root cause of your challenges & creating a personalized plan that leads to measurable progress

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have 10 years of experience using a person centered approach while working with adults, adolescents, & school aged children. My style can be described as eclectic as I use various methods of support such as Cognitive Processing Theory (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & other forms of treatment. My person centered approach has helped dozens of individuals for a better understanding of thier thoughts and manage their emotions. We’ll use a person centered perspective to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to adapt your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a more balanced life.
