I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I'm experienced in supporting individuals manage life stressors and challenges to improve their mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. I offer a supportive space to help clients learn how to navigate their emotions and experiences, especially those who have not had these skills modeled due to cultural stigma or intergenerational patterns.
In our first session, we will get to know one another and I will gather information on what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping to work on. We will work as a team to identify specific areas of focus for our work together.
I show up to your sessions authentically and encourage you to do the same. I believe you are the expert in your life and I come along side you to help you create lasting change for yourself.
I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking relief from struggles and pain. My clients may appear to be doing well on the outside, but find themselves increasingly challenged with depression, anxiety, and low motivation. Together, I work with my clients to find more enjoyment in their lives, break intergenerational cycles, improve relationships, and have a better relationships with themselves.
I am EMDR trained and can offer this approach to clients who are wanting to address trauma-related issues.
I recognize everyone has unique individual needs and utilize a relational, eclectic approach when working with clients. I incorporate a combination of CBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic-oriented approaches to support clients in addressing mental health concerns.
