Merit Nwosu is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), she has worked in inpatient emergency, IMU, Cardiac, Neuro, Medical and acute care setting. She has also worked as a psychiatric nurse and practiced in various psychiatric inpatient settings for over 10 years. Merit is licensed to practice as a psychiatric mental health practitioner in the greater Houston area, Arizona, Connecticut, and New Mexico. She brings with her a unique set of experience in treating Adolescents, young adults and geriatric patients who suffer from Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, Insomnia, OCD, ADD/ADHD, Schizophrenia. She is committed to providing comprehensive care with a philosophy that extends beyond the use of medication alone and encompasses a holistic approach that includes supplements, vitamins, nutrition, and exercise as essential components of mental well-being. The goal of her clinical practice is to provide individualized care by an integrated approach. She believes patients should be at the center of their care.
