Hi there, my name is Sydney and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist here to assist you in your therapeutic journey. I was born and raised in Sonoma County and am now serving my community via both in-person and telehealth. I have experience working in community mental health, school-based, and private practice settings. I am dedicated to my clients and enjoy seeing growth and self-exploration through our journey together.
My goal from the first session is for you to feel heard, validated, safe, transparent and open. You will be supported, accepted and encouraged to lean into your challenges to find dynamic and helpful solutions. Working with adults, I use my early childhood development knowledge to help heal the inner child and past traumas and/or challenges that may be holding you back from living a present and fulfilled life.
I work from a client-centered approach using dynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
I have experience working from a trauma-informed, collaborative, client-centered approach in both individual and family therapy. I work with children, young adults, families and adults of all ages to help reflect on challenges and co-create goals to help strengthen a happy and healthier version of you.
I would like to primarily focus on young adults 18-30, but open to other ages

Sydney is incredibly warm and compassionate, and I am so grateful for her! I have always struggled with feeling understood and showing emotion, but in our sessions, I truly feel seen and never feel judged or like my feelings are too much. I feel very supported and empowered to make healthier choices in life.

I've been in therapy with Sydney for a few years now and she has made such a huge impact! She's been there to celebrate my wins and support me at my lowest lows, plus everything in between. She's helped me implement boundaries that have truly improved my life tenfold. She’s kind and understanding and open to any topic that needs discussing. I look forward to our sessions and even if I didn't have something specifically on my mind to discuss, we always end up digging into some good stuff.
