I come to this work with a deep respect for the healing process and the vulnerability that my clients bring to the space. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is critical for change to occur. While I understand that embarking on the journey of therapy can be painful and challenging, I also know that it can be joyful and ultimately bring grounded levity and ease to your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be about assessing where you are in your life and where you would like to be. We will establish goals for our work together, and I will provide time and space for your to ask any questions about me and my approach to the work. We will leave our first session knowing a little bit more about one another, and both have a sense of what our work will look like.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I bring warmth, curiosity, presence, and sometimes humor to our sessions. I really value the relationship involved in effective psychotherapy, so you will always feel like you are talking with another human being rather than a "clinician".

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with adults who are seeking to know themselves deeply, live authentically, explore their identities and develop more meaningful and satisfying relationships. I love working with people who find themselves in life transitions and want to get in touch with what they deeply desire from their next chapter.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

Our work may involve explorative, insight-focused talk therapy and understanding how early relationships and experiences have impacted your understanding of yourself and your relationships.

Somatic

We may also explore body-oriented mindfulness to get in touch with all parts of yourself and restore a sense of connectedness to your emotions, body, self and to others in your life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We may look at how your thoughts and beliefs are not serving you, and we will develop techniques that help bring ease.
