Hello and welcome! I'm a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience helping individuals work through a wide range of challenges. My approach is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental, and I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. (At this time, accepting clients 18 and over for individual therapy only.) I work collaboratively with my clients to tailor our approach to their unique needs and goals, and I'm dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care that meets each person where they are. My goal is to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their circumstances so that they can make meaningful changes and live the life they want. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or anything in between, I'm here to support you on your journey. I believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and I'm committed to providing a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings with empathy, skill, and understanding.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our therapy sessions, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. After your first session, you can expect to feel heard and understood, and to have a better sense of what therapy will look like moving forward. I'll work with you to establish clear goals and develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. As we continue to work together, you can expect to gain greater insight into your patterns of thinking and behavior, and to develop new tools and strategies for managing challenges and achieving your goals. Whether you're seeking short-term support or long-term growth, I'm committed to supporting you every step of the way.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize a range of evidence-based treatment methods and tools designed to help you gain greater insight into your patterns of thinking and behavior, and to develop new skills and strategies for managing challenges and achieving your goals. CBT, for example, focuses on identifying and changing negative patterns of thinking and behavior, while DBT emphasizes mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. ACT emphasizes developing a flexible, values-driven approach to life, while solution-focused therapy focuses on identifying and building on your strengths and resources. Mindfulness-based therapies help you cultivate present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. In addition to my professional training and experience, I bring a number of personal interests and passions to my work. I'm a proud owner of a geriatric pug, and I love watching stand-up comedy. I'm also deeply interested in astrology and spirituality, and I'm always open to explore these topics with clients who are interested. Ultimately, my biggest strength as a therapist is my unwavering commitment to supporting you on your journey toward greater self-understanding, healing, and growth.
