Hi, I'm Chloe. I am a psychiatric mental health and primary care nurse practitioner. If you are seeking a compassionate mental health provider who takes time to listen and believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship, then I may be the provider for you. Whether you are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, a substance use disorder or other mental health concern, I look forward to getting to know you and working together to help you achieve your goals and lead a healthier, more fulfilling life. I provide medication management and believe in using medication judiciously to address your individual concerns. We will work together to find the right medication or medications for you. I also believe in the importance of therapy and other modalities to improve quality of life and will recommend referral to the appropriate providers. I obtained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Maryland and a post-master's certificate from Johns Hopkins University. I have experience working in addiction medicine, primary care, oncology and geriatrics. If it seems like we may be a good fit, please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

At the initial session, I will obtain a detailed history to get a better understanding of your current experience and how to best help. Medications will be prescribed as appropriate. At subsequent sessions, I hope to continue to get to know you better as an individual, while monitoring the response to any prescribed medications and making adjustments as needed. I feel it is important for a provider to instill a sense of connection and hope at every encounter.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Prescription and monitoring of medications, building a therapeutic relationship. My focus is on medication management with referral to an appropriate therapist.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Maintaining a compassionate, non-judgmental approach is essential to any therapeutic relationship. Knowledge of the appropriate medications to prescribe for individual situations. Extensive experience with adults struggling with mental health issues and substance use. Experience working with older adult clients and those with chronic medical conditions.
