I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia, holding a degree in Counseling and Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. My professional journey spans various fields, starting in the business world, transitioning to 12 years in education, and eventually moving into several years of work in different mental health settings. This diverse background equips me with a broad perspective to assist clients across a wide range of life areas.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session, we'll take the time to get to know each other. I'll conduct an intake assessment to learn about your history and background. Together, we'll create a treatment plan and set achievable goals that we'll focus on in our upcoming sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With six years of experience working with young professionals, I've developed a proven approach to help you uncover the underlying causes of your challenges and create a customized plan for tangible progress. Mental health disorders impact approximately one in five Americans, totaling about 51.5 million individuals in the country. Mental health is dynamic and can change throughout life, with many Americans facing mental health issues at some point. I firmly believe that our work together can make a significant difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. My goal is to assist clients in overcoming psychological hurdles by guiding them to modify negative behaviors and thought patterns, ultimately fostering positive change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I encourage clients to create a connection between their thoughts and feelings. Together, we will work on taking a deeper look at how thoughts influence feelings, feelings influence actions, and actions influence results.
