Take a breath in. Exhale slowly and feel your feet supported by the Earth beneath them. Notice the impact of this one breath in your body- celebrate this moment of peace. Riding the waves of this human experience can at times be challenging, and call for support from an external resource. It is in this calling, i welcome you to delve into therapy. Stepping into an unknown therapeutic relationship can evoke many feelings, and as I invite you into this space, your feet are on the ground and your breaths pace our work. In our time together, my intention is to guide us in a mind-body-soul approach to the therapeutic process. I embody compassion, genuineness, authenticity and vibrant energy that will allow our relationship to grow. In my clinical work, I use a narrative therapy framework in session to engage clients in the telling and re-writing of their stories. This may be to work on a specific challenge, identify life themes, or understand a life’s journey. I will also utilize yoga, meditation and breathwork in session to support the regulation of the nervous system and maintain a safe space for our work. I am here to remind you that everything you need is already within you. I invite you to join me as we uncover strengths and skills that allow contentment, joy and peace to find you everyday.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our intake session, we will review your history and create a plan for our work moving forward. Any questions that you have will be answered and we will begin to get to know one another to establish a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

We will be a great fit together if you are looking to incorporate wellness practices into your daily rhythm, if you are looking for support in managing difficult emotions, if you are navigating pregnancy/postpartum/parenthood or if you manage caregiving responsibilities in any capacity. Our stories are crucial pieces of who we are as a whole. In our work, I invite you to share your stories with me and we will rewrite them together. The practice of storytelling can support your growth and progress in improving your overall quality of life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

As a 200 hour certified yoga teacher, I love to incorporate mindfulness techniques into sessions. I will invite you to explore concepts of meditation, breath work and yoga to deepen your ability to cope with life's stressors.
