About me

As a therapist, I know that hope is obtainable despite feelings or depression or anxiety. Imagining life with hope and happiness can be challenging, but it is possible to achieve. I utilize a strength-based approach with multiple behavioral health techniques and therapies to personalize care of couples or individuals. I help identify and achieve goals while making a connection and developing positive growth and well-being. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, couples, and families. I believe creating a warm, accepting, and safe environment is important to the therapeutic process. My strength-based approach and use of person centered therapy (CCT) helps me achieve this ideal therapeutic environment. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to further address challenges. I develop therapy plans collaboratively with my patients to ensure we’re addressing challenges the way you want to address them. I’ve learned that I’m exceptional at showing the empathy I have for others and utilizing this empathy to develop a therapeutic plan.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Strength-Based therapy is my overarching approach to all challenges. Most people have difficulties recognizing or even acknowledging the positive they have in their life that can help them through challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is my preferred modality to work through challenges, but other methods are often needed based on the challenges a person is facing.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling often starts with helping develop communication in the relationship. Typically, challenges are easier to address after this point together and separately.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is based on CBT, and often helps address challenges directly

Family Therapy

Family therapy ideally utilizes the strengths the family has and helps them realize the hope and strengths they do have to rely upon
