My name is Irene Tetzlaff and I am a Board Certified and Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I have specific expertise in treating Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders & Trauma. My clients report they have found comfort, understanding and a positive way forward in their lives. It is so gratifying when my patients tell me they finally reach an understanding of their anxiety or trauma, make progress, and find peace. They find their “new normal”. They feel like they are at the start of a beautiful and exciting new life. This is what I love about my role.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I offer a caring, one on one telehealth experience. Today's technology offers the opportunity for us to be face to face easily on your desktop or smartphone. Your background, personality and concerns are all unique. You will receive respect and a treatment plan that is specialized and effective. Please note that I do not prescribe stimulants such as Adderall, Ritalin, Concerta or Vyvanse.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over 20 years in various psychiatric and therapeutic roles, I have gained great insight and intuition. My greatest education has been seeing each of my patients through their journey and sharing in their successes. Rather than putting on a "professional face" I actually do CARE about your well-being and take great pride when my patients find success.

My treatment methods

Psychoeducation

I always advocate sharing the "how" and "why" of different treatment methods with my clients. "How will this medication affect me?" "Why is this path of treatment most appropriate for me as an individual?" These are common questions that deserve clear, informed answers. Clients deserve and appreciate being given the information they need to make informed choices about their care.
