I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in El Paso, offering individual teletherapy to adults ages 18 to 64 across the state of Texas. If you’re navigating relationship challenges, grieving a loss, moving through a major life transition, or feeling overwhelmed by life, you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll explore meaningful, personalized steps toward healing and clarity. Supporting people as they uncover resilience, hope, and self‑understanding is deeply rewarding for me, and it’s an honor to walk alongside clients as they reflect, grow, and heal. I look forward to collaborating with you on this part of your journey. New clients: Please review my availability before scheduling. I offer appointments Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (Mountain Time) / 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. (Central Time). I am unavailable on weekends.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, my hope is that you feel welcomed, supported, and comfortable sharing what’s on your mind. I focus on creating a space built on trust, openness, and honest conversation. We’ll begin by exploring your background, the challenges you’re facing, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences and needs. This time is also for you — a chance to ask questions, get a sense of my style, and see how I approach the therapeutic process. By the end of our first meeting, you’ll have a clearer picture of what our work together can look like and how we can move toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring empathy, compassion, and an evidence‑based approach to my work as a clinician. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and supported. Staying current with research and therapeutic techniques allows me to offer care that is both effective and tailored to each person’s needs. These strengths help me provide thoughtful, personalized support as clients navigate challenges and move toward meaningful growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with people seeking a compassionate, empathetic listener to help them explore their feelings and experiences. My approach is client‑centered, offering a welcoming, supportive space where you can reflect, collaborate, and uncover personalized solutions that fit your life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in a collaborative, strengths‑based way to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect. I focus on identifying unhelpful patterns and practicing new skills that support meaningful change. I integrate CBT tools at a pace that feels safe and culturally attuned, blending them with trauma‑informed care to create practical, personalized support.
EMDR
I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and use it to help adults safely process and heal from overwhelming or distressing experiences. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements or tapping—to help the brain reprocess memories that feel “stuck,” often reducing the emotional intensity of past events and increasing a sense of safety and well‑being. My approach is trauma‑informed and paced, focusing on building grounding skills and trust before deeper work. Throughout the EMDR phases, I check in often and tailor the process to each person’s needs so the experience feels manageable, collaborative, and empowering.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing is a partnership between therapist and client. We work together to explore your thoughts and feelings about change, drawing out your own ideas and motivations rather than prescribing solutions. This approach trusts that you already have the strengths and abilities within you, and our work helps bring those to the surface so change feels authentic and achievable.
