Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I'm so excited that you want to take this next step for yourself! Let's be honest, seeking therapy can be scary, yet so rewarding and exciting. My goal is to create an environment that not only challenges you; but allows you a safe place to explore and process different challenges you are facing or goals you are wanting to achieve. I enjoy thinking outside of the box in working with you to create the best quality of life. I have worked with a broad population from children, teens, adults, seniors, and individuals with terminal and/or chronic illnesses.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with introductions, identifying what is most important to you throughout our sessions, and begin working on the challenges you are facing. Let's get to work!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental and accepting place to express yourself. Some of my greatest strengths include my authenticity, my calm demeanor, and my commitment to helping you achieving your goals and overall well-being!

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Working together to identify the challenges you are experiencing and recognizing own unique strengths to address and overcome identified challenges.

Grief Therapy

With experience in Hospice, I have worked with individuals and the complexities around the grieving process. With the personalized grieving process, I have also assisted with the navigation around family dynamics during end-of-life.

Psychoeducation

I have utilized this approach to help individualizes have a greater understanding of their diagnosis and/or treatment methods being explored. As individuals, we all learn and receive information different. I have found with certain individuals this has provided an incredible impact on knowing more around "what's going on".

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Throughout my experience, I have been able to utilize CBT techniques to assist with challenging and reframing of thoughts. I have worked with individuals to process and identify how different thoughts, feelings and behaviors influence each other. With this I have assisted with changing thought patterns to decrease levels of anxiety and depression.
