I was born and raised in the land of unceded Tongva territory, presently Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles. I am a proud daughter of immigrant parents (Tagalog and Visayan ancestry) and the “bunso” or youngest in my family. I am here to walk beside you through your self-exploration, processing, and healing. In other words, you are the expert in your care, and I am here to provide a gentle and motivating space. You can expect humor, patience, flexibility (art is optional), and reflection.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My inviting and warm nature will help create a space where you will feel heard and seen. Together, we will collaborate to explore relationships, behavioral patterns, and barriers that may be getting in the way of where you would like to be.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. This approach is hands-on and gives you tools to feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. I also offer art therapy to challenge perfectionism, allowing us to play and reconnect with our inner child. It is empowering because sometimes words may not be enough to express your emotional experience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Have you been struggling with anxious thoughts and doubting yourself? I work with young adults (Fil-Ams, Asian Americans, and BIPOC) who are managing anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, and/or grief. Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a growth plan that feels empowering and achievable.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to help clients challenge their thought patterns. It has helped them take control over their lives and unlearn habits that has been passed down to them.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I have worked with diverse populations in a variety of community and non-profit settings. I am a first generation filipina-american and connect with learning how to navigate and balance my parents' culture and American culture.

Humanistic

I use the humanistic treatment method by meeting with the person I am working with where they are at. I always assess and ask if they just need a listening ear or if they would like to be challenged. I follow their lead and offer support, they are the experts in this process.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy in my practice by exploring and reflecting my clients' story and narrative to help explore patterns of behavior. This is where we are able to unlearn generational thought processes and learn to take steps towards growth.
