My therapeutic approach is direct and active, promoting clarity, healing, encouragement, as well as change. I possess experience working with clients diagnosed with diverse mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, mood disorders, etc. Additionally, through my experience, I have developed an integrative approach to therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors, by teaching them strategies to challenge and reframe unhelpful thoughts, and gradually exposing them to feared situations to reduce anxiety.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I utilize this psychotherapy that focuses on helping individuals accept their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them. It encourages commitment to personal values and taking action towards living a meaningful life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize this type of therapy to help clients manage intense emotions and develop coping skills through techniques like mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, often combining individual therapy sessions with group skills training.

Grief Therapy

I utilize this specialized form of therapy aimed at helping individuals cope with the emotional, physical, and social responses to loss. Therapists use a variety of techniques and approaches to support clients through the grieving process.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing as a directive method for enhancing intrinsic motivation to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence. It is particularly useful in settings where clients may feel resistant or ambivalent about change, such as in health care, substance abuse treatment, and behavioral therapy.
