What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session with me, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental atmosphere where they can feel safe to share their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Overall, the first session is an opportunity for clients to build a therapeutic relationship, gain insight into their concerns, and start working toward positive change and growth. I aim to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported on their journey toward healing and wellbeing.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Strength-based therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and building upon the strengths and resources that individuals already possess rather than solely focusing on their problems or deficits. My experience with this treatment method as a therapist has been incredibly positive. I often begin by helping clients identify their strengths, whether personal qualities, skills, or external resources. This approach can help clients develop a more positive self-image and build confidence in overcoming challenges. I then work with clients to explore how they can use these strengths to address their current difficulties and achieve their goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I often use CBT techniques to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to their emotional distress or problematic behaviors. This process involves teaching clients to become more aware of their thoughts and to examine the evidence for and against them. By doing so, clients can develop more balanced and realistic ways of thinking, leading to mood and behavior improvements.

Grief Therapy

I approach grief therapy with a compassionate and client-centered focus in my practice. I recognize that grief is a highly individual and complex process, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them navigate their unique healing journey.
