New to Grow
I’ve been providing mental health services for over nine years. I believe in meeting people with compassion, flexibility, and respect for their lived experience. I continue to work with individuals and couples seeking clarity, healing, and meaningful change. I offer affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, while also providing inclusive, evidence-based care to adults from all walks of life. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported exactly as you are. Your story matters, and our work together is guided by collaboration, trust, and authenticity.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a supportive, pressure-free environment. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and what’s been feeling challenging lately. You don’t need to have everything organized or fully articulated that’s part of what we’ll figure out together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your history, current concerns, and goals. We’ll also review confidentiality and discuss how therapy works so you feel clear and comfortable moving forward. If you’re unsure about your goals, that’s completely okay. Clarity often develops through conversation. My approach is collaborative and paced to you. Some clients want structure and tools right away; others need space to process and reflect. We’ll begin identifying what feels most helpful for you and outline next steps together. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and more hopeful about the path ahead.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to build rapport quickly. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up sooner than they expected. I prioritize creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and genuinely collaborative from the very beginning. My background in Integrated Dual Diagnosis and Assertive Community Treatment strengthened my ability to remain grounded, adaptable, and steady, even when working with complex or layered concerns. I’m comfortable supporting clients navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges, identity exploration, relationship difficulties, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. Clinically, I bring a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while integrating additional modalities, including energy psychology techniques when appropriate. This allows me to tailor treatment to each client rather than relying on a single framework. Above all, my strength lies in balancing structure with flexibility, offering practical tools and insight while honoring each person’s pace and unique lived experience.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals and couples who are ready to gain deeper insight into themselves and create meaningful change. Many are navigating anxiety, identity exploration, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, or the impact of past experiences. Some may also be managing both mental health concerns and substance use. I work particularly well with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples seeking affirming care in a space where they feel fully accepted and understood. My background in dual diagnosis and community-based mental health allows me to support clients with complex or layered concerns while maintaining a grounded, steady approach. My clients don’t need to have everything figured out. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain but they are open to reflection and willing to engage in the process. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after time away, I appreciate working with people who are motivated to better understand themselves and move toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize this treatment model as my "base." It is helpful because of the "cause and effect" nature of it. To put it in simple terms, changing thoughts to change behavior which changes your experiences.
