Welcome! I'm Dr Regina is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, and infectious disease specialist. I received my Doctorate from Rutgers University, NJ, and have been practicing for 6 years. Our services included psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and psychiatric evaluation, and then dive into the specific challenges the individual is facing. This will help create a tailored plan for both the client and me to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with individuals for the past 5 years, I have helped my clients improve their self-esteem, better coping skills, and reduced anxiety and depression as well as identify the root cause of their challenges and develop a plan that leads to measurable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Medication and therapy for individuals with depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress management, bipolar, mood disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss, and social and emotional issues. Together, I work with couples to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows each of our clients to explore obstacles and concerns related to their relationships. We provide family therapy and couples therapy

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We help our clients manage their problems by changing how they think and behave. This is accomplished through the use of psychotherapy that combines cognitive therapy and behavioral therapy.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

We help individuals and their families focus on the improvement of relationships and behaviors among families

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

We understand the importance of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, and other important elements that makeup someone's culture and/or identity. Therefore, we incorporate each individual’s background and belief system into the psychotherapy

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

Helping the individual and families accept reality and acknowledge the loss

I have been going to Dr. Regina for some time now and it has been the most refreshing experience I have ever had. She is extremely warm and easy to talk to. She gives amazing advice and makes me feel like there's nothing I can't accomplish. Going through college has been tough, but I always look forwards to seeing Dr. Regina and having her support. You can tell she genuinely cares for you; she radiates love and kindness.

Dr. Regina’s bio explained her experience and approach. During our first meeting she was very warm and I felt a connection. I am able to explain my feelings and know that I am heard and not brushed off. Our sessions are never rushed. She hears me, repeats what I said to make sure she understood and gives clear, concise response/ answers. Then she asks how I feel about her answers. This is not my first time with a psychiatric physician but this is the first time I feel comfortable and heard.
