I have been a board certified psychiatric, mental health nurse practitioner for the past 7 years and have dedicated over 20 years to mental health care services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I provide effective care and support to individuals struggling with mental illness in our community, which is the foundation of Muna Behavioral Health. Muna Behavioral Health is a privately owned care center that makes mental health care services accessible to young adults and older individuals. I specialize in Mood Disorders, Depression, Anxiety and others.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session patients will feel welcomed and accepted. The clients will be required to provide the necessary demographic information, including insurance, date of birth, and identification. The patient will also get a chance to get oriented to the process and procedure of the setting, during the session. The reason for the appointment will also be discussed and addressed with a detailed individual treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Attentive listening is one of my greatest strength which enables me to determine the patient's presenting problems. Being empathetic helps to be non-judgmental to my clients. Furthermore, for effective and efficient practice as a nurse practitioner, I try to be in-depth when assessing clients for any clues that will be helpful in proper diagnosis and treatment.
