Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with four years of experience supporting adults facing mental health and substance use challenges. I'm a Los Angeles native and received both my B.A and my MSW from UCLA. I primarily use Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my sessions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and goal-oriented—helping clients find clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions to understand your background, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll also talk about what therapy might look like going forward, and I’ll invite you to share at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to build genuine, trusting relationships and my use of structured, evidence-based methods to promote real change. Clients often tell me they feel seen, respected, and understood in our work together. I bring a calm, grounded presence to therapy and adapt my approach to meet each client’s unique needs—whether that’s offering deep insight, practical tools, or simply holding space.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, and life transitions. I work well with individuals who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves, and who are seeking a safe, nonjudgmental space to gain clarity, process emotions, and build healthier patterns. I also have experience working with BIPOC clients and those from diverse cultural backgrounds who value a therapist with cultural sensitivity and lived understanding.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about change. My experience with MI includes supporting individuals struggling with substance use, where enhancing intrinsic motivation is essential. I create a collaborative and nonjudgmental space, using reflective listening and open-ended questions to help clients identify their own goals and take empowered steps toward them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a core part of my practice, especially in addressing anxiety, depression, and negative thought patterns. I help clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected and guide them in developing healthier coping strategies.

Psychoanalytic

While I take a more integrative stance, I draw from psychoanalytic concepts to explore how early experiences and unconscious patterns influence present behavior. I help clients build insight into their internal world, unresolved conflicts, and relational dynamics. This deeper exploration can be especially helpful for those looking to understand longstanding emotional patterns or relational difficulties.
