Great to meet you! I am a USAF veteran with over 22 yrs of experience in the healthcare field. I feel that Psychiatry is definitely my calling as I put 100% effort into my clients, making sure they receive the best care possible. I have the best clients ever because we work as a team. My clients tell me they feel heard, they can tell I truly care, and that mental health is definitely my calling. Are you ready to feel better? Sometimes you must do something different, to get something different, so let's do this!
****New Client Policy*** New Client Scheduling & No-Show Policy -A complimentary 10-minute consultation is required before an initial appointment may be scheduled. -ADHD is treated with non-stimulant medications only. The practice does not prescribe stimulant medications or Suboxone and does not provide treatment for substance use disorders. -We understand there are times when FMLA is needed, however, we are unable to support FMLA requests at this time. -All required Optimal Life Care intake documents should be completed and returned before the initial appointment. -New clients who miss their initial appointment may be charged a no-show fee. Their account will be archived, and they will not be permitted to reschedule. This policy also applies to appointments scheduled within 24 hours. Please ensure you can attend before booking, as the standard 24-hour cancellation window will not be available.
My goal is to develop a safe and effective treatment plan that contributes to getting my clients on the right path to mental stability. I am a medication manager, but I also believe that other factors, such as psychotherapeutic intervention is also a very important tool to help clients reach their goals.
I feel my strengths are that I sincerely care about my patients and I'm an educator. My patients know after the first visit, that they have found a rare gem. I take time (yes I give them time) to hear my patients, not just listen. My patients stay because they learn about their disorder, and medications, which I firmly believe is the key to trust and treatment compliance, is giving them knowledge and great care. My patients tell me they feel more confident about taking medications, or seeking psychotherapeutic intervention, or both because they are able to contribute to the development of a personalized treatment plan that they can trust. I love to teach so I ensure my patients leave every visit fully understanding of their diagnosis and treatment plan. My clients express their appreciation regarding these qualities. Contact me and see for yourself!
My ideal clients are adults ages 18–64 who present with: Mood disorders (e.g., major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders) Psychosocial and relational stressors (work stress, family dynamics, financial strain, life transitions) Conditions well‑suited to a combined medication management and brief psychotherapy model A desire for collaborative, insight‑oriented care with structured treatment planning This population aligns most closely with my current clinical focus, professional goals, and preferred model of care, allowing me to consistently deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered treatment.
