In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first introduction, we will complete a full health history, to include family history, as this plays a significant role in assessment/treatment. Then we dive into the reason the client is seeking Psychiatric treatment.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

My goal is to develop a safe and effective treatment plan that contributes to getting my clients on the right path to mental stability. I am a medication manager, but I also believe that other factors, such as psychotherapeutic intervention is also a very important tool to help clients reach their goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel my strengths are that I sincerely care about my patients and I'm an educator. My patients know after the first visit, that they have found a rare gem. I take time (yes I give them time) to hear my patients, not just listen. My patients stay because they learn about their disorder, and medications, which I firmly believe is the key to trust and treatment compliance, is giving them knowledge and great care. My patients tell me they feel more confident about taking medications, or seeking psychotherapeutic intervention, or both because they are able to contribute to the development of a personalized treatment plan that they can trust. I love to teach so I ensure my patients leave every visit fully understanding of their diagnosis and treatment plan. My clients express their appreciation regarding these qualities. I am trained to treat across the lifespan, therefore, I am happy to see patients from age 7 to 77. Currently, I have available slots for adults age 18 and up. Please call for Pediatric availability/wait list.
