Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. I've been practicing for 16 years. I offer quality and affordable counseling for adults, couples, children and adolescents with a variety of needs. I believe in effective results that we will both work towards during the therapy process. I utilize several therapeutic approaches and have specialized training in a variety of areas to best assist your needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will begin to establish your expectations as well as challenges you feel you're facing. Then, we will explore further into your goals as the session progresses. During each step, you will be given options for treatment and a safe space to be heard and understood. If you find yourself uncertain at anytime of how therapy works, please do not hesitate to ask. I'm here to make this comfortable and you feel confident in scheduling another appointment if needed.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in a diverse amount of mental health work settings in the past 15 years, I feel my strengths are being able to develop an enviornment to first identify the cause of your challenges as well as create a custom plan that assists in measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience with CBT is being able to assist you in tracking your thoughts and how they effect your feelings, actions, awareness and overall wellbeing. Should we agree to proceed with treatment/counseling I firmly believe in combining other treatment methods that include solutions and balance of social, spiritual, environmental, and physical aspects of functioning. By exploring these along with development of specific treatment goals, there is a greater chance of successful outcomes.
