Hello there! I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my Master's degree from Walden University and have over 30 years of experience helping people in crisis. I treat age groups from 9-90 years of age helping those with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and other mental health issues. I empower my clients with the tools to overcome fear and anxiety that may have resulted from depression. Through brief therapy and medication management, I can help them become the best versions of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session together, we will review how I can best serve your needs. We will go over your anxiety triggers, hindrances, any anxiety/panic attacks, depression, and what medications you have tried in the past. If it's your first experience receiving help, we will identify any recent changes where you felt you needed extra support. There are no right or wrong answers, just the two of us discovering how to meet your needs, on your individual time frame.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having working with the criminal justice system, crisis centers, and hospitals for the past 30 years, I have gained valuable techniques to help patients feel comfortable disclosing their emotional needs. I hope to identify the quickest and most effective methods for the patient to feel results.
