Hello! I am a licensed independent clinical social worker. I received my Masters from the University of Denver and have been a therapist for six years. I use a compassionate and mindful approach to support clients in meaningfully processing past stressors and traumas and coping with significant life transitions. Creating authentic meaning and joy from my life experiences, even the traumatic ones, has been a source of abundance to me. I’m passionate about continuing to better myself, my practice, and the lives of the people I work with.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, the client and I get to know one another to build trust and comfort. I offer coping skills when appropriate and discuss therapy goals so that we can create a path forward. Setting small goals is often more sustainable for clients looking to achieve big changes.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a trauma-informed therapist for the last six years, I have learned to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to share. I love my work and strive to incorporate compassion, wisdom, and humor into my sessions.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

We've all experienced trauma in some form -- big or small -- that has been difficult to process and move past. As a former crisis therapist and trauma survivor, I know how important it is to be trauma-informed. I view therapy as a safe place for clients to open up at their own pace and in a non-judgmental and caring environment.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

A mind-body connection can be a powerful realm to explore in therapy. As a trained yoga instructor, I help people work with and process sensations in their bodies. During sessions, I offer clients the opportunity to do breathing and mindfulness exercises, as well as guided meditations.

EMDR

EMDR is an evidence-based, clinician-led psychotherapy for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other emotional issues. When clients are interested in engaging in EMDR, we work together to prepare and tailor the process to ensure the best possible results.

Compassion Focused

We are often the harshest critics of ourselves. I help clients understand self-criticism and emotions like shame and cultivate compassion for themselves and others.

Grief Therapy

Grief is one of the most complex emotions humans experience. We can experience grief and loss not only after death but also after significant life transitions. I support individuals to navigate and process loss so they can move forward wholeheartedly.
