New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist who specializes in supporting individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or disconnected from themselves or others. You might be juggling racing thoughts, emotional intensity, challenges with focus or motivation, or a complicated relationship with food and self-image. My goal is to offer a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. My approach integrates Interpersonal Neurobiology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Together, we’ll explore how the brain, relationships, and past experiences shape current patterns, while also building practical skills to manage emotions, shift unhelpful thoughts, and strengthen motivation for meaningful change. Therapy is collaborative, paced to your needs, and focused on both insight and real-world tools. If you’re ready to take the next step toward greater clarity, balance, and connection, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation. You don’t have to do this alone.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on building rapport, discussing what brings you to therapy, and identifying your goals. I’ll gather background information, answer any questions you have, and explain how therapy will work. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and begin creating a personalized plan for support.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I offer a collaborative, compassionate, and skills-focused approach to therapy. My strengths include tailoring evidence-based interventions to each client, creating a safe and supportive environment, and helping clients develop practical strategies for emotional regulation, focus, and mood management.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with ADHD and/or mood disorders who are seeking practical, supportive therapy to better manage emotions, attention, and daily stressors. Clients may struggle with emotional regulation, motivation, impulsivity, low mood, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed by life transitions. My ideal clients are open to learning skills, gaining insight, and working collaboratively toward meaningful change. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness, I help clients build coping strategies, strengthen emotional awareness, and improve overall functioning in a compassionate, nonjudgmental space.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I integrate mindfulness-based practices to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment. These practices support clients in responding more skillfully to distress, rather than reacting automatically, and in cultivating self-compassion and emotional regulation. Mindfulness is used flexibly and collaboratively, always adapted to the client’s needs, goals, and readiness
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive-based therapy to help clients identify and examine unhelpful thought patterns that influence their emotions and behaviors. Together, we explore alternative perspectives and develop more balanced, realistic ways of thinking. This approach supports clients in building practical skills to manage distress and make meaningful changes in their daily lives
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. The approach balances acceptance and change, supporting clients in validating their experiences while working toward healthier coping strategies. DBT is applied collaboratively and flexibly to meet each client’s specific goals and challenges
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about change in a respectful, collaborative way. By emphasizing empathy, curiosity, and client autonomy, this approach supports clients in identifying their own values, strengths, and motivations. It helps strengthen readiness for change while honoring each client’s pace and goals.
