In our first session together, here's what you can expect
My ideal client is someone who is looking for a team to partner with in order to identify their path to wellness and, with the help of our team, put forth the effort necessary to follow that path and achieve wellness. I am a board-certified Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I've been trained to assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions across the lifespan. My experiences in outpatient, inpatient, psychiatric ER, and psychiatric consult liaison departments have helped to build my knowledge base in order to provide the best care possible.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
The goal of mental and emotional wellness is a common one and is not always an easy one to achieve. We all could use help along the way and I'm here to partner with you in order to achieve that common goal of mental and emotional health and wellness.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Monique has extensive mental health training and worked in a variety of clinical behavioral health settings as well as nursing experience in a community mental health setting and critical care settings. Monique was featured in an article in Nurses Lounge DFW magazine outlining her achievements and her research interests focused on the effects of Vitamin D and other supplements on mental health.
