New to Grow
Hi there! I’m Bryanna, a board‑certified psychiatric‑mental health nurse practitioner and the founder of Hive Health. I support people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves, and I believe care should feel accessible, affirming, and rooted in trust. My work centers around two groups in particular: healthcare professionals who are carrying burnout, compassion fatigue, or the weight of constant responsibility, and pre‑teens/teens navigating big emotions, identity shifts, and the pressures of growing up. Across ages, I help clients slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and co‑create care plans that honor their values, strengths, and lived experiences, so they can move forward with more clarity, steadiness, and self‑connection.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
New clients will complete a 60-minute intake session, during which time we’ll create a safe, supportive space to: Explore your history, including past diagnoses, treatments, and experiences that shaped your journey; Understand your present, including mood, anxiety, trauma, stress, and how these show up in daily life; Look at the bigger picture: sleep, physical health, lifestyle, and work‑related stressors like burnout; and set meaningful goals. Together, we’ll identify what healing and thriving look like for you. If needed, we may also recommend lab work to rule out underlying physical contributors. From there, we’ll co‑create a personalized plan that may include: Thoughtful medication management, Holistic strategies like mindfulness, movement, or stress‑reduction practices, individual psychotherapy and/or Referrals to trusted providers for complementary care.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My therapeutic approach blends clinical skill with genuine human presence. I don’t treat people as problems to solve; I meet them as whole, complex humans and invite them into a collaborative process. My methods are grounded, trauma‑informed, and spacious, giving clients room to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I provide evidence-based treatment with warmth, intention, and cultural humility. My aim is to offer a safe, collaborative space where we don’t just manage symptoms; we explore root causes and help you reclaim your narrative through an integrative approach that may include therapy, medication, or both. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a practical, collaborative tool to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my work, CBT isn’t about forcing positivity; it’s about slowing down, noticing patterns, and building skills that create real shifts in daily life. I guide clients in identifying unhelpful thought loops, experimenting with new coping strategies, and practicing small, meaningful changes between sessions. Whether I’m supporting a healthcare professional navigating burnout or a teen learning to manage big emotions, CBT gives us a structured, empowering framework to help them feel more grounded, capable, and in control.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients reconnect with their own motivation, strengths, and sense of agency. MI is a gentle, collaborative approach that creates space for clients to explore ambivalence, name what matters to them, and move toward change at a pace that feels authentic. In sessions, I ask curious, non‑judgmental questions, reflect back themes I’m hearing, and help clients identify the values that can guide their next steps. Whether I’m supporting a healthcare professional feeling stuck in burnout or a teen navigating identity and independence, MI offers a respectful, empowering framework that helps them build confidence in their own voice and choices.
