About me

I’m a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in clinical social work and trauma-informed care. I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, identity challenges, and emotional wounds. My journey began in Serbia, where I earned a degree in Psychology and worked for over a decade. Living through social and political upheaval shaped my deep understanding of human resilience and the importance of safe, supportive spaces. After moving to the U.S., I continued my clinical training and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My approach combines Transactional Analysis, psychodynamic therapy, energy work, and trauma-focused methods—guided by curiosity, respect, and genuine connection. As a bilingual and culturally sensitive therapist, I work with teens, adults, couples, and families. I bring insight into the emotional complexities of immigration, identity, generational trauma, and family conflict. My goal is to create a space where healing can begin, and meaningful change can take root.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your background, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This is also your space to share at your own pace, ask questions, and get a sense of how I work. Together, we’ll begin creating goals and a plan that feels supportive and meaningful for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating life transitions, past trauma, or identity challenges. My approach is warm and collaborative, blending evidence-based techniques with genuine connection. I’m certified in TRET (Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy), a gentle, trauma-informed approach that uses energy psychology to help release the emotional charge of traumatic memories without re-traumatization. I am trained in Transactional Analysis, Personality Focused Therapy, and the Redecision Process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may feel stuck—caught in cycles of anxiety, past trauma, or patterns that keep repeating despite your best efforts. Deep down, you long for relief, clarity, and a sense of peace. You are not broken; you’ve been doing your best to get through difficult experiences. Now, you’re ready for something different. I work with people who are seeking to release the weight of old wounds, quiet overwhelming thoughts, and reconnect with their true selves. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, identity challenges, or major life transitions, our work together can help you feel calmer, lighter, and more in control of your life.
