Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona. I received my Masters from the University of Arizona and have been practicing for 5 years and in the mental health field for 10+ years. I help those who are struggling with trauma and feeling trapped in their symptoms. I help these individuals feel more grounded and able to handle the minor and major stressors life throws at them.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing without getting too lost in the story. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions so you can fee lighter and able to handle these challenges.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked with a number of individuals from those in acute crisis, inmates, those going through getting their rights taken from their kids and just those struggling in daily life and I am able to connect with all of them. I am able to work with you and get you results without having to know the whole story.

My treatment methods

Somatic

I have found that talk therapy is great but does not always get to the root of the problem. Sometimes we can't find the words to stay what is happening to us and Somatic therapy gives us an option to work the trauma where words aren't always needed. After a few sessions you start to notice a difference in daily life and then you will notice it with the trauma that you brought into therapy. It will not be fixed overnight but hopefully you will see a lessening after a few sessions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT for several years now and it is great option when you have thoughts that just won't leave you alone. You can tell within a few sessions that you are catching and changing thought patterns.
