Mia uses a combination approach that involves clinical and wellness interventions. Mia believes that therapy is more than just diagnosing someone, and takes time to get to know you as a person. Mia uses a biopsychosocial method paired with trauma-informed modalities. Mia has an extensive background in working with people with racial trauma, anxiety, and relationship issues. Mia offers both indoor and outdoor therapy sessions as well as virtual appointments.
I look forward to meeting you. After our initial consultation we will schedule an intake. This is an opportunity for us to build rapport and will be a collaborative and open conversation where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and hopes for therapy. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and explore your goals for therapy both short and long term.
I am an openminded therapist who operates through a non-judgemental lense.
If you love nature and want to focus on mind body connection this could be a great fit.
Everyone possesses strengths and we will explore, identify, and implement them
