LMFT, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello, I'm Fabiola. I am a client-centered, trauma informed, empathetic, bi-lingual marriage and family therapist. I have several certifications and continue training in modalities and practices that help my clients recover from acute, chronic and complex trauma. I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Polyvagal Theory, (Internal Family Systems) IFS, Trauma Neurobiology and Family Systems Trauma Training (FST). I am currently learning Relational Life Therapy (RLT). I utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills to support individuals with anxiety, depression, grief, and relational dysfunction. I enjoy gaining additional insight by integrating talk therapy, artistic expression and Christian spiritual concepts to enrich and deepen healing.
I will need to get to know you for clinical and individual reasons. This process begins by asking questions about your past and the current situation which brought you to therapy. I will provide a comfortable, warm, judgement-free space to begin connecting therapeutically. This will help me develop your personalized plan towards healing.
I truly enjoy getting to know what makes you..."you!" I am warm, grounded and curious. I believe we all have strengths and gifts to share with others. I seek to build strong rapport by having some fun and building your resiliency.
I work well with individuals who are open and willing to explore areas they have not allowed themselves to go. I honor and respect the act of reaching out for help because I believe it takes a mix of courage and determination.
I am a bilingual (English & Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years’ experience in the social service field working with families, children, teens, and couples. I utilize an insight-oriented, trauma-informed, and client centered stance to apply evidenced based therapies such as Solution-focused (SF), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I am trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Family Systems Trauma (FST). I thrive on helping clients build resilience and create lasting change. When applicable, I integrate a Christian faith-based emphasis in her interventions. I enjoy building a strong rapport with my clients and understands that making changes and confronting personal challenges requires commitment and courage. I honor the client as the “expert” of their life, providing them with a comfortable environment to facilitate self-discovery and personal growth. I am passionate about helping clients move forward confidently, with the tools and perspective needed to navigate life’s complexities and make definitive changes in their lives.
