Hi! Im a licensed clinical social worker. I received my master's degree from Barry University in Florida and have been practicing for 20 plus years. I have worked with clients who suffer from addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am passionate about helping my clients gain awareness into the issues and heal from trauma and toxic relationships. Together we can discover the root cause and how to break the hold that they have over you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we can discuss what types of issues you want to address and gather some history and background as to why these issues may be occurring.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with women and trauma for the past 20 years I have developed a deep understanding of issues that you are facing and how to go about helping you create lasting change to bring an end to suffering and begin to live a more free and full life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been helping clients deal with their challenges using CBT for over 10 years. Everyone views the world through their own unique lense and sometimes it's helpful to look at things from other perspectives. I help people get "unstuck" from their thoughts that are causing them distress.

Eclectic

I like to adapt my approach to meet the needs of my client individually. Sometimes it is helpful to use multiple approaches to tackle more complex issues, especially if they overlap into different areas of your life.

Trauma Informed Care

My last position was operating a trauma informed program. There I was able to provide a safe space for victims of trauma to learn how to heal and help reset their nervous system to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, nightmares, depression, substance misuse, depression and other symptoms of trauma.
