If you're looking for a holistic, decolonized and evidence based approach at managing your mental health symptoms: you've come to the right place. My approach in therapy is centered around the transformative power of creativity and connectivity. I believe that healing and growth are best achieved through breaking generational patterns, self reflection, and strengthening the skills to navigate the systems in which we live. I take a relational and evidence based approach to treatment, center your voice, and guide a process of co-creating your healing journey. I encourage clients to explore their inner worlds and express themselves authentically; while also establishing solid supports, and grounding awareness within the context of their lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I specialize in providing and teaching methods that will allow you grow and meet your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working collaboratively to create an environment and approach that is uniquely tailored to your goals. While also looking at how systems (from family to global) impact your day to day. My experience in community mental health, expressive arts, and play therapy allow for non traditional, flexible and adaptable healing sessions that are also evidenced based.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I am very relational in my approach. I tend to think and process in psychodynamic ways but offer many skills based interventions that include CBT/DBT, experiential and somatic interventions, ketamine assisted psychotherapy, and excessive arts, etc.

Attachment-based

Given my professional experience working with families impacted by trauma; many of which have been involved in the child welfare system, survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and labor trafficking, my training is grounded in attachment theory. I believe our attachment styles influence our behavior and by healing our inner child, we can learn to love ourselves.

Trauma Informed Care

My training in community mental health and working with youth and families in the Bay Area (most of which are system involved) has provided me with over 5, almost 10, years of experience. Currently, I offer trainings to healthcare workers, service providers, caregivers, and students pursuing work in social services.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I am in the initial phases of obtaining CEU and actively working towards certification.

Group Therapy

Ancestral Healing for communities of color and Decolonizing Interventions for parents. Recently, I've begun to hold a consult group for Decolonizing Ketamine and Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy.
