(she/her)
I look forward to guiding you towards greater life satisfaction in small steps. Together, we will determine the root of your needs through reflection on your past experiences with family, friends, school and/or career. We will evaluate your attachment style, your cycle of thoughts and actions and support small changes in your day-to-day. I use a blend of solution focused, cognitive behavioral and relational techniques to facilitate our process.
At our first session, we will discuss your needs and wishes in therapy. If the therapeutic process is new for you, we will discuss how therapy works for most, and tailor the process specifically to you.
We will openly discuss our fit for one another, and if another therapist in my network better matches your needs, I will foster that connection for you.
Dear Future Client, My experiences blend the school and therapeutic worlds and I specialize in helping clients achieve greater career satisfaction (particularly educators), parenting balance and navigating educational needs for children from preschool through college.

EMDR
I am trained to use EMDR in the treatment of bothersome thoughts for a variety of conditions: trauma, anxiety, witness to accidents and other catastrophic events. Due to the nature of virtual sessions, we will most likely use tapping as our method, but we can explore visual options for clients who are comfortable weaving in other websites
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a tried and true method that is a structured for of talk therapy. We will specifically discuss how your thoughts, feelings and actions are connected. This will allow you to change your negative beliefs to improve your mood. CBT is a goal oriented form of therapy.
Compassion Focused
Compassion therapy teaches people to be kind to themselves. Through our discussions, I will guide your awareness of any tendencies toward self-criticism and we will aim to replace those tendencies with self-compassion.
Attachment-based
Attachment-based therapy begins with exploring how early childhood relationships with primary caregivers shape your adult emotional patterns, intimacy and trust. This allows us to become aware of how our current habits root in early life experiences, allowing us to change what has not been productive in our lives.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
This method operates on the core belief that people already possess the strength and resources needed to make positive changes. Therapy sessions using SFBT focusing on identifying actionable steps to achieve the future you envision, instead of analyzing the root of current problem that brought you to therapy.
