Welcome! I am a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner with over 2 years of experience in treating individuals with mental health disorders. I practice in both, Maryland and Washington DC. I have over 25yrs experience in the nursing field with experience ranging from mental health, substance abuse treatment, Acute care, Acute Rehabilitation and long-term care setting. I provide integrated care including Psychiatric Mental Health and Substance use disorder. I am committed to assisting each client to achieve wellness through lifelong transformations. I believe in holistic care that considers not only the physical aspects of a client’s illness but the emotional and spiritual aspects as well. My mission is to provide patient-centered mental healthcare with excellence in quality service and easy access to services. I am committed to the wellness of mind for individuals, their families, and the community through prevention, intervention, treatment, and education of mental health. Furthermore, I believe in fostering hope and confidence in the ability to conquer life stresses and enrich the quality of lives for my Clients.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My treatment method consists of a person-centered approach with evidenced-based medication management while working as a team. I provide a combination of psychiatric medication, and supportive talk therapy while encouraging lifestyle changes.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Primarily in my practice, I concentrate on working with clients that are dealing with Anxiety disorder, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Eating disorder and other Mood disorders. I do see clients with ADHD, OCD, PTSD and Substance abuse disorder
