I’m glad you’re here and seeking support! I’m Kelley and I’m here to help you successfully navigate through your challenges. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Adventure Therapist with over 20+ years of practical, clinical experience working with a broad population including children, teens, adults and families. I don’t believe that “one size fits all” so we will…together…work on your individualized goals. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, grief or just life itself…I’m here to help you grow to reach your full potential. No one has all the answers but…together…we can help you find yours. If you’re interested in Adventure Therapy which is a therapeutic technique that pushes the boundaries of traditional in-office therapy, we can discuss incorporating it into future sessions. I work with all ages and abilities...so please don’t shy away from thinking about participating in Adventure Therapy…I’ve seen people thrive from the experience.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our initial session will be a time for me to learn about you and your struggles. We will explore the goals and desired outcomes of your therapy. The following sessions will focus on areas that you have identified as issues that you want to resolve or improve upon. Through our work together, you will grow and gain personal insight to promote your optimal mental health.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having 20+ years of clinical experience, I have learned many things…one of the most important is that I truly believe that you can laugh through pain. Therapy doesn’t always have to be serious and robotic. I meet you where you are…I’m down-to-earth, casual, and easy-going but professional.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have utilized CBT successfully with many past clients. CBT is ideal as it can help you make sense of overwhelming problems by breaking them down into smaller parts. It allows us to gain control of our thoughts which leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life.

Strength-Based

We all have internal strengths that we access in times of duress but sometimes we forget about those and fail to utilize them when needed. Strengths-based therapy pays attention to a client's past successes and the personal capacities and resources that allowed them to succeed.

Supportive

Sometimes we just need to heard and validated. Supportive therapy has helped many by creating a safe space to share openly and is designed to give the emotional support and guidance needed to manage life stresses.
