About me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist committed to creating a safe, supportive space where healing, growth, and self-discovery can take place. I approach therapy with compassion and collaboration, meeting each client where they are and tailoring evidence-based and innovative approaches to their unique needs. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help relieve stress, anxiety, depression, grief, fear, and other challenges that may feel overwhelming. In our work together, we explore not only the difficulties you’re facing but also your strengths, values, and goals. I aim to empower clients with practical tools, coping strategies, and insights that support lasting change. My ultimate goal is to help you transform pain into self-acceptance, resilience, and personal growth, so you can live a more balanced, fulfilling, and meaningful life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust and understanding. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also ask some background questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and any challenges you’ve been facing. This session is collaborative and at your pace — there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can begin to feel heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead. By the end of the session, we’ll discuss next steps and start shaping a plan that fits your unique needs and goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment, my empathetic and personable nature, and my commitment to a trauma-informed, collaborative approach. I am skilled at helping clients feel heard and understood, while providing practical tools and strategies for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I draw on a variety of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic therapy, tailoring them to each client’s unique needs. Above all, I am dedicated to guiding clients toward self-awareness, personal growth, and meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Whether you’re facing challenges in your family, career, or marriage, or struggling with issues such as trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, ADHD, or other behavioral concerns, I’m here to support you on your path toward healing and growth. I provide a warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed environment where you can feel safe exploring your experiences and making meaningful change. Using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic therapy, I help clients break unhealthy patterns, find effective solutions, and move toward a life filled with greater balance, confidence, and joy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my work because it helps clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a practical and empowering way. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns that may contribute to distress and develop more balanced ways of thinking and responding. CBT is a collaborative process — we set goals together and move at your pace — while building tools for coping, problem-solving, and emotional regulation. This approach helps you feel more in control and confident in managing challenges, and provides lasting strategies you can continue to use well beyond therapy

Humanistic

I take a humanistic approach to therapy, which means I believe each person has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding. My goal is to create a warm, accepting space where you feel heard and supported as we explore your experiences and emotions together. Rather than focusing on “fixing” what’s wrong, I help you connect with your strengths, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate greater authenticity and self-compassion, guiding you toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Interpersonal

I often use an interpersonal approach in therapy, which focuses on understanding how your relationships and social experiences affect your emotional well-being. Together, we explore patterns in the way you connect, communicate, and respond to others, as well as how past experiences may shape your current relationships. By increasing awareness of these dynamics and developing healthier ways of relating, you can build stronger connections, improve communication, and experience greater emotional balance and fulfillment in your relationships and daily life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I often incorporate a mindfulness-based approach in therapy, helping clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. Through mindfulness, we work on noticing experiences without judgment and responding with intention rather than reactivity. This practice can reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and foster a deeper sense of calm and self-compassion. Over time, mindfulness can help you feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to yourself and your surroundings.

Psychodynamic

I often draw from a psychodynamic approach in therapy, which focuses on increasing self-awareness and understanding how past experiences and relationships influence your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we explore underlying patterns, unresolved emotions, and core beliefs that may be shaping your present struggles. By bringing these insights to light in a supportive and reflective space, you can develop a deeper understanding of yourself, break unhelpful cycles, and create more meaningful and fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others.
