LPC, 6 years of experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas with over six years of experience supporting individuals through meaningful personal growth and healing. Holding a Ph.D. in Psychology, I specialize in trauma-informed care and work closely with clients to help them develop healthier behaviors and coping strategies that lead to lasting improvements in their quality of life. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, and client centered. I believe that healing happens when individuals feel empowered, heard, and actively engaged in their treatment. Whether navigating life transitions, processing trauma, or building emotional resilience, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can reconnect with their strengths and move toward a more fulfilling future.
In our first session, we’ll take time to explore what brings you to therapy and begin building a foundation of trust, safety, and open communication. I want to understand your story, your experiences, challenges, and hopes so I can get a full picture of who you are and what you’re seeking. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and begin crafting a personalized treatment plan that reflects your strengths and supports your healing. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, and I’ll be right there with you as you take this important first step toward lasting change.
With several years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I’ve worked with a wide range of populations and mental health needs. Dr. Elizabeth has been instrumental in changing my negative thought processes, bringing awareness to my actions, helping me to feel confident in setting boundaries with those I love, and in challenging me to find love for myself. Would highly recommend her for anyone really wanting long-term change. Be open-minded, honest, and accountable with her and she will be your light leading you out of darkness.
