LCSW-C, 9 years of experience
Hi, I’m Raven , a licensed mental health therapist with over eight years of experience helping women navigate anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I’m passionate about creating a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, breathe, and focus on you. My approach is compassionate and strengths-based, helping you build confidence, set healthy boundaries, and manage stress with intention. I believe therapy should feel like a reset ,a place to release the pressure, gain clarity, and move forward feeling lighter and more in control.
After the biopsychosocial assessment, our first session will begin with a check-in to see how you’re feeling and what’s on your mind. From there, we’ll focus on building a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can share at your own pace. I’ll ask about your concerns, goals, and what brought you to therapy while also exploring your strengths, challenges, and any past experiences that may be influencing your current struggles. We’ll also discuss what you hope to gain from therapy, introduce coping strategies if needed, and outline the next steps in your journey. This session is all about establishing trust, clarifying expectations, and collaboratively creating a plan tailored to your needs so you leave feeling heard, supported, and empowered.
With over eight years of experience supporting women of all ages , my greatest strength lies in creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and empowered to tap into their own resilience. Using a strengths-based approach, I help clients recognize their capabilities, build confidence, and develop practical tools and coping strategies that support real, lasting growth. I meet clients where they are while gently guiding them toward clarity, self-discovery, and empowerment. Together, we clarify goals, strengthen coping skills, and uncover the inner strengths clients already possess to navigate life’s challenges. My mission is for every client to leave sessions feeling supported, capable, and confident in their ability to move forward.
I specialize in supporting women who are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or uncertainty about the future. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next steps but they’re also ready to grow and find new ways to move forward. My approach is compassionate and strengths-based, helping women manage daily responsibilities, quiet self-doubt, and build confidence from the inside out. Together, we’ll create a safe and supportive space where you feel understood, empowered, and in control of your journey toward healing and clarity.
I use a person-centered approach that combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. My experience with CBT has been transformative in helping clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I integrate mindfulness practices to help clients stay grounded in the present moment, reduce stress, and build emotional resilience. In my practice, I apply these techniques to address both the mental and emotional aspects of my clients’ struggles. For example, with clients dealing with anxiety, we work together to reframe unhelpful thoughts while practicing mindfulness to create a sense of calm. This dual approach allows my clients to not only understand their thought patterns but also develop practical tools for managing their emotions and enhancing their well-being.
I specialize in integrating mindfulness-based therapy into my work with clients. Mindfulness has been incredibly effective in helping individuals manage stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation. Through mindfulness, clients learn to observe their thoughts and feelings without judgment, which empowers them to break free from negative thought patterns and emotional reactivity. In my practice, I use mindfulness-based techniques, such as guided breathing exercises, body scans, and mindfulness meditation, to help clients stay present and grounded. For example, with clients struggling with anxiety, we practice mindfulness to manage overwhelming emotions and develop a greater sense of control. This approach not only promotes relaxation but also teaches long-term skills for coping with life’s challenges in a calm and balanced way.
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on their unique abilities. Instead of focusing solely on challenges, we identify personal strengths like resilience, creativity, or problem-solving—and explore how to use them for growth. This approach shifts the focus from ‘What’s wrong?’ to ‘What strengths can help me move forward?’ By empowering clients to see their own capabilities, we build confidence, self-awareness, and lasting change.
I take a supportive approach, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. I meet clients where they are, providing encouragement and guidance as they navigate challenges. Through compassionate listening and tailored strategies, I help clients build confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to create meaningful change in their lives.

Such a great listener and is very patient which makes it so easy to open up more. I feel I don’t always make sense when I talk but some how she’s always able to comprehend what I’m saying. Gives great affirmations/solutions and very supportive, love it here!.🥹

Raven has been amazing to work with. She helps me identify the root causes of my emotions and find realistic solutions to handle in the moment. I appreciate her being able to give multiple options when I’m unsure of what will work best. She is very empathetic and easy to talk to!
