Hi there, I am Rajni Sharma I am a certified psychiatric nurse practitioner PMHNP. I studied at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania for my PMHNP degree, FNP master’s degree at Chamberlin University, and bachelor’s degree at American Sentinel University. I have been practicing for more than five years in behavior health and vulnerable subpopulations and treating a variety of mental health issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Meet and greet the client where they are and build the progress from that point onward. I set clear goals for myself and my clients and treat every session as an opportunity to make progress. A comprehensive discussion about their current symptoms, medical Hx, and overall mental health to understand their concerns and focus on establishing a treatment plan which may include medication, therapy, or lifestyle changes depending on the individual.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I enjoy assisting clients in being the best versions of themselves and overcoming issues that may hinder them otherwise. I provide culturally competent care and work with diverse values, and I am available to discuss the labels that surround mental health and the stigma surrounding it. My past clinical experience includes working with clients experiencing symptoms of personality and mood disorders, not limited to depression, PTSD, Bipolar, dementia, Panic attacks, and anxiety to name a few.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I listen to my clients, engage honestly, and tell them the things they need to hear. I am fluent in English and speak Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi as well.
