Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is short-term and goal oriented. It is used to identify and monitor negative though patterns and behaviors. It is helpful in understanding the relationships between thoughts, feelings and actions. It aids in learning techniques to challenge and modify negative thoughts and beliefs. Patients learn coping skills and strategies to manage difficult situations through homework assignments and real life-applications.
