Hello I am a LCSW with 20 years of experience dealing with loss, adjusting to life's changes and assisting my clients with better coping skills to deal with challenges in life. I enjoy helping my clients see their strengths and weaknesses to help them lead a more productive and healthier lifestyle. I am empathic and am an active listener. I provide a safe environment for my clients.
In our first session together I want to get to know my clients and what they are struggling with. This will help us work together to form goals and a plan to work through in follow up sessions.
Having worked with many individuals with different needs in the last 20 years I am an active listener eager to help my clients work though their struggles and challenges in life.
I enjoy working with adults in different stages of their lives who might need support and who are willing to do what is necessary to improve their lives and may benefit from some direction.
I have helped my clients change their thought patterns and behaviors so that they can build better coping skills leading to significant improvements in functioning and quality of life. My clients have seen an improvement in their relationships and thinking patterns.
I enjoy focusing on my client's strengths, building on their best qualities and improving their mindset. Assisting my clients in their strengths can create an environment that supports a positive change.
