Hello, I am a certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner with six years of provider experience in Florida. My main aim is to help clients understand that true healing lies in their thought processes and commitment to curing mental health disorders. My actual focus is therapy first and then medication if only needed. I combine mind, a healthy lifestyle, talk therapy, and medicine temporarily until the targeted patient goal is achieved.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will introduce ourselves to each other, discuss the main goals of seeking help and your specific challenges/difficulties, and create a plan of treatment. At the best of your beliefs/suggestions to help yourself, I am open to your own decisions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I think my greatest strength is being an open welcoming listener to all the patient's concerns without judgment.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help patients verbalize how they feel right now and why they feel that way. I help patients process their thoughts individually to see the reasons and justifications for their thoughts and associated beliefs. It is that belief that arose from their experiences in the past, creating their behavior in that time. If everyone realizes that their experiences have no relation to the truth of an event and that they do not have to think in the same way, every time can change their thinking process. This can alter destructive thought and behavior patterns into a more helpful, healthy mindset.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Improving mental health and curing mental disorders are the same ways as building up body muscles through disciplined and committed workouts. We need 100% commitment to follow mental exercises to strengthen our mental/ emotional muscles to cure mental disorders. There is no way of popping a magic pill and assuming all is done.
