LPC, 19 years of experience
I specialize in helping clients recognize and move beyond unhealthy coping patterns that often stem from deeper, unresolved issues. Together, we explore habits, beliefs, and thought processes that may conflict with their sense of inner peace. My counseling approach focuses on addressing core concerns—whether the goal is to understand personal behaviors better, build self-esteem and confidence, or break free from destructive patterns of thinking. By using client-centered interventions, I create a supportive therapeutic alliance that meets each client where they are. From there, we work collaboratively to design a treatment plan that is both meaningful and personally invested, empowering clients to take an active role in their growth and healing.
In our first session, we’ll take time to explore the reasons you’re considering therapy, your personal history, and what you’re seeking in a therapeutic relationship. We’ll reflect on your self-awareness—what strategies have helped you in the past and what may no longer be serving you. I’ll also share my experience supporting clients with similar challenges, so you can feel confident about the process. Most importantly, we’ll talk about your best hopes for this journey and how I can support you in moving toward the life you want.
My greatest strength lies in my unwavering belief in people and their ability to grow and transform. I believe deeply in the power of personal growth and in uncovering the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be standing in the way of true inner peace. My goal is not only to help people feel better, but to empower them to thrive and step fully into the best version of themselves.
I work with clients who are ready to connect with the best version of themselves and create a life of meaning and fulfillment. Together, we focus on cultivating forgiveness—both of self and others—through understanding, compassion, and the power of release.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify thought patterns leading to feelings of anxiety, stress, low self-esteem and more.
I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT0 to help clients reconcile values and beliefs even when negative thoughts, feelings and challenging circumstances are present. Detaching from unhelpful thoughts by recognizing them as mental events rather than absolute truths.
I am a Christian and a Therapist, I believe that true healing comes from addressing the whole person, which involves emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. I combine Christian principles with counseling techniques to identify thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are negatively impacting your inner peace.
I utilize client-centered interventions to develop a therapeutic alliance that meets clients where they are and works with them to create a client-invested treatment plan. My counseling style is structured but not directive. I meet you where you are; you are the driver and I join you on your journey.
Engaging in therapy is not a one size fits all event. I am flexible and work to expose clients to different techniques and experiences that fits their needs and personality.
