Hello. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and received my graduate degree from Texas Tech University. I believe my life experience interacting with different people allows me to provide a distinctive perspective. Being a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor offers me a unique opportunity to not only address the addiction but also any underlying factors. Counseling has afforded me the chance to change lives, not only of the addict but also for those that love them. Those loved ones also need support.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session will be dedicated to getting to know each other, reducing any nervousness, and discussing your goals for these sessions. Based on this information an individualized plan will be developed so progress can be monitored.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Empathy is one of my strengths. I have an innate ability to listen, not just hear, but listen. Sometimes what needs to be discussed is hidden in what is not said or in body language. Also, having a sense as to when to push in an area or not to is an essential tool.
