Welcome! My name is Elyse. I'm an LCSW with 7 years of clinical experience licensed in California (License #90559) and Connecticut (License #12025) . I specialize in working with women, mothers, children and teens. I utilize only evidenced based therapeutic modalities to ensure every person I work with has the tools they need to make life more manageable. I partner with each client to make sure they are on a path to reach their goals in therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. Our work together is collaborative and goal oriented. By the end of the first session I will share an outline of what type of treatment I think will be most helpful based on the concerns you share. I make sure every client feels empowered to create practical solutions that make the hard days more manageable. We work as a team to better understand and change unhelpful thoughts and behavioral patterns, so you can get back to the life you want to live.

My clients leave sessions feeling seen, validated and empowered to make changes in their daily lives to improve their moods. They often start noticing thought patterns and the impact our thoughts have on our feelings and behaviors. We learn and practice tangible strategies and tools in our sessions that you can immediately start applying to your everyday life.
