Hi, I'm Pia. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor serving adults (18+) in Georgia and South Carolina. I’m passionate about helping people work through life’s challenges to experience healing, personal growth, and meaningful change. My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered. I meet each client with empathy and openness, and together we’ll identify your goals and build a plan tailored to your needs. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, and couples counseling. I also bring experience supporting veterans and practice with cultural sensitivity, honoring the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the people I serve. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the next step, therapy can be a valuable space to reflect, heal, and grow. I use evidence-based techniques and a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to help you navigate life’s challenges and develop healthier patterns that support your well-being. You don’t have to face it alone—let’s work together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is all about getting to know you—your story, your challenges, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals and what you hope to gain from our work together and begin to build a strong, trusting foundation for our therapeutic relationship. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background and current concerns, but we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This is a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is the balance I bring between empathy and structure. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and understood—but I also offer guidance, tools, and evidence-based strategies to help you make real, lasting change. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and draw from approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. Clients often tell me they appreciate how collaborative and empowering our work feels. I respect that you are the expert on your own life—my role is to walk alongside you, help you uncover patterns, and support you in creating new ones that align with your values and goals. I’ve seen clients leave therapy with a clearer sense of self, improved relationships, greater emotional resilience, and the confidence to face life’s challenges with new perspectives and strength. Change isn’t always easy, but with the right support, it is absolutely possible.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I serve adults (18+) in Georgia and South Carolina. I specialize in supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their path forward—but are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. I’m best positioned to help adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship stress, and couples issues. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted by constant worry, emotional ups and downs, or a sense that they’ve lost touch with themselves. Some are going through significant changes—like the end of a relationship, career shifts, or the loss of a loved one—and are looking for a safe, supportive space to process and rebuild. My ideal clients are open to self-reflection and ready to explore what’s getting in the way of feeling more balanced, connected, and fulfilled. Whether you're seeking relief from emotional distress or looking to grow into a more confident version of yourself, I’ll meet you with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. Together, we’ll work to understand your story, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and create a path forward that aligns with your values and goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) uses a variety of techniques to help individuals identify and change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors. A core technique is cognitive restructuring, where you learn to recognize negative thoughts and replace them with more balanced and realistic ones.
