Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from the Western Carolina University (go Cats!) and have been practicing individual therapy for 4 years. I have worked closely with elementary-aged children to address social anxieties, self-esteem, and impulsivity. I have also provided services for individuals struggling with stress-management and ADHD. I have experience working directly with geriatrics and veterans as well.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions to allow for rapport-building. We will then dive into the specific challenges you're facing, which will allow us to create a treatment-specific plan to address your needs. This will be discussed over the next few sessions to make sure the plan will be successful.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked closely with school-aged children, I have been successful in tailoring individualized treatment plans to children of all ages. I have been able to successfully identify primary stressors and address negative behaviors. I have developed strong working relationships with the guardians and support systems of those children as well to make sure they are successful in their home and school environment as well.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adolescents that are struggling with coping mechanisms and impulsive behaviors. I have also worked closely with student-aged adolescents that are struggling with self-esteem.
