The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

My experience with trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) involves helping clients navigate the impact of trauma by addressing the ways it affects their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I use trauma-informed CBT to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their trauma at their own pace. I focus on helping them identify and challenge negative thought patterns related to their trauma, while also teaching coping skills to manage distress. The trauma-informed approach ensures that therapy is sensitive to the emotional and physical safety of the client, promoting empowerment and resilience throughout the healing process.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

In my practice, culturally sensitive therapy means honoring each client's unique cultural background and values. I create a non-judgmental space where clients can explore their identity and experiences, integrating culturally relevant perspectives into treatment. This approach ensures clients feel understood and supported within their cultural context.

Strength-Based

In my strength-based approach, I focus on identifying and building upon clients' existing strengths and resilience. Instead of focusing solely on problems, I help clients recognize their abilities and resources to foster empowerment and personal growth throughout the therapeutic process.

Integrative

My approach to integrative therapy combines different therapeutic techniques to best meet each client’s unique needs. I draw from various methods, such as CBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy, tailoring treatment to the individual. This flexibility allows for a more personalized and effective therapy experience.
