Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker located in Indiana. I have my Masters degree from Indiana University. I have been in practice for almost 25 years and have lots of experience in helping people of all ages who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, women's issues, PTSD, grief, life changes and stress. I also enjoy working with couples to help bridge communication and strengthen relationships as well as working with families to help create stronger bonds and relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will take some time for introductions-so you know a little bit about who you are working with. I will ask questions about your personal strengths as well as working to identify what goals you would like to work on in therapy. I am easy to talk with and with developing rapport easily and quickly. I want my clients to feel comfortable and safe while working with me.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are clinical experience (almost 25 years), life experience and I am easy to talk to, empathic listener, optimistic and hopeful. I tend to build rapport and comfort quickly as I am compassionate and kind.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use CBT treatment method as it is applicable to many areas I treat such as anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders and ADHD.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT sometimes along side with CBT and Mindfulness. There are many helpful tools with DBT to help with regulating emotions.

Strength-Based

I use strengths based in my practice to help clients talk about and figure out their strengths and use strengths as a coping strategy to help with managing ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, etc. I start off with identifying strengths and using that as a way to help build rapport as well.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I tend to use Mindfulness and Mind-body connection work to help clients manage anxiety and ADHD as well as chronic pain and hormonal issues/concerns.
